This is a co-operative of small family farms, nurseries, and market gardens that have come together to streamline your local food ordering needs.
One platform, one transaction, one delivery or pickup, multiple producers!
The Torch Lake Co-op formed in 2020, and it has worked so well for shoppers and producers alike that we have made it into a legacy project. Shop for local food groceries twice a week, year-round with convenient pickups and delivery options all around our local area, see map on the Schedule page. There are pickups in Traverse City on Saturdays from May until October. This is an amazingly efficient way to plan your seasonal menus and buy your local food and plants directly from farmers, growers, and chefs,
all in one place!
Please join our weekly newsletter to keep up to date with co-op news. You can find a signup on the FAQ page.
Co-op growers collaborate in order to offer you a wide variety of garden transplants. First available pickups start in May and go through June so you can make multiple orders with different pickup or delivery days in order to plan your gardening time wisely. You'll find plants that enjoy cooler temperatures in the earlier cycles, and heat-loving plants in the later cycles. Keep in mind that the sooner you order, the more choices will be available.
Local farmers and growers have joined forces to streamline your local food ordering needs. They include Daybreak Dreamfarm, Witt Family Farm, King Orchards, Grass Lake Road Farm Stand, Wagbo Farm & Education Center, Bellaire Nursery, Lel's Lil Acre, Buckwheat's Market Garden, GLO, Earthly Wilds Farm, Jordan's Craft Teas, and Joli Cochon. We also offer products from Sobremesa Tamales, Shorties Shortbread, Harwood Gold, Brownwood Acres, Grand Traverse Sauce Company, Leelanau Cheese Company, and Mundo's Coffee.
